G20 Press Conference

The Group of Twenty (G20) Finance Ministers and Central Bankers will host a press conference in Cape Town, South Africa. The G20 will be holding meetings earlier in the day to discuss a range of global economic issues. Although the meetings are closed to the press, quite often officials will speak with reporters throughout the day. All major central bank governors are due to attend, including US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet and Zhou Xiaochuan, who is Governor of the People's Bank of China.
